Rising food insecurity coupled with extreme impacts of climate change and growing conflicts in West Africa, has a direct bearing on opportunities for farmers to access new seeds, markets, and innovations. The project has great potential to enhance local and cross-regional social interactions by leveraging the experiences and practices of consortium members and national partner organizations, including established FRNs in Niger, farmer groups in Uganda, and Malawi, and reciprocal learning opportunities for resilience and autonomy.
